Our Shichonpoo puppies are here!

Our six Shichonpoo puppies were born on August 22nd with a variety of coat colors. Our Emerson sired this litter- his first litter. One of our apricot boys there remind me so much of him in coat texture and sizing.

Their going home date is around October 31st, when they will be 10 weeks old.

Their puppy selection start date will be October 3rd, on their 6 week birthday. Read more below…

Update 9/7- We will be filling in five reservations. I have decided to keep back our smallest boy as he had a difficult time gaining weight this past week. We will continue to help him and monitor him closely. But at this time I do not have a peace on taking a reservation for him until I am satisfied with his growth.

Update: Heartbroken, I must share that their little brother, Clem is no longer with us.... I made the hard decision at 3 weeks of age with my Vet's advice to peacefully put him down as it became obvious that he truly was "failure to thrive" and was suffering. He was the runt from birth with quite a weight difference. This happens while raising puppies without reason or explanation, and thankfully it has only been the second time I have seen it happen. Many breeders experience it more often. It makes me never take it for granted when our puppy loves are thriving and growing as they should and all is well.

Our Shichonpoo puppies are expected to be 6-15lbs full grown. When they are older, we will get a better feel of their adult sizing as one boy and one girl is currently charting to stay in the 6-9lbs range. You can see in their photos in my hand the size difference considering their father is a true Toy Poodle.

Week 2 - our girls are the first two loves

1 Week Old - Our girls are the first two loves.

Phebe with her six sweet newborn puppies, just a day old! She had a short labour, surprising us with her two black and white coated babies- a rare for us.

Grown Bluebell Shichonpoo pups

Our Phebe’s puppies have been sired by Emerson- our new, tested and BEAUTIFUL true Toy Poodle stud. He is 5lbs of all love and red fluff, quite quick at training and a true companion. He and Phebe live with a family member and have been the best of friends from the start. His favorite pastime is laying on his Mom’s shoulders while she sitting or perched on his Dad’s lap while he is working on the computer. This is his first litter, and I am quite proud!
